UK chemistry professor Susan Odom's student, Corrine 鈥淣ina鈥 Elliott, attended the 244th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in Philadelphia as an 18-year-old high school student planning to attend UK in the fall.
Four local high school students who were mentored by 糖心vlog官方入口 Center for Applied Energy Research scientists have proved that experience gained by working in laboratories with mentors is invaluable.
High School students Nina Elliott, and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Walsh joined assistant professor Susan Odom in her chemistry lab, a partnership made possible through Paul Laurence Dunbar High School's Math, Science, and Technology Center.
