LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 15, 2016) — Alexis Eugene, a ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú doctoral student in the Department of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú, has been awarded the NASA Earth and Space Science Fellowship.
Alexis Eugene was recognized for her research at the held in December 2015. Her poster presentation titled "Photochemistry of alpha-keto acids in model atmospheric waters" received recognition as one of the two best graduate student posters.
Faculty members in the Department of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú characterize Alexis Eugene as an outstanding student, critical thinker and driven researcher. Her accomplishments were recently recognized at the national level as she received the Graduate Student Award from the Environmental ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú Division of the American Chemical Society.
