Double Major

It is possible to earn a B.A. Degree in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú in addition to a degree in your home department by fulfilling the departmental (but not college) requirements for a the B.A. 

Biology and Agricultural Biotechnology majors often choose this option, because the courses required by their home departments already satisfy most of the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú department requirements! Only the following additional courses are usually required to earn a B.A. in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú as a second major.

Students in departments other than and should consult the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú to see whether a double major is feasible for them.

Students may also choose to earn a B.S. major as a second major. The B.S. Degree in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú – Biochemistry option couples well with the A&S Biology major.

Note that if your home department is not in the , you do not need to fulfill the A&S requirements to earn a second major in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú.

Premedical students will find that a second major in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù·½Èë¿Ú immeasurably improves their chances of getting into the medical school of their choice.
